Research a Brand Before Outreach
Cold-calling or emailing a brand is an investment of time and credibility. Before you reach out, use the Brand Analyzer to understand whether the brand is even worth pursuing on Amazon. Brand Analyzer gives you a snapshot of a brand’s entire Amazon presence in seconds:- Estimated monthly revenue across all ASINs in the brand’s catalog
- Buy Box ownership breakdown — what percentage of Buy Boxes are owned by the brand itself, by Amazon, or by third-party sellers
- Amazon’s own selling activity — whether Amazon Retail is competing directly on the brand’s listings and how dominant their presence is
- Number of active sellers per ASIN and average seller count across the catalog
- Best Sellers Rank distribution — which products are actually moving vs. which are dead catalog weight
Analyze a Supplier Price List
Once you have opened an account and received a supplier price list — usually a CSV or Excel file with hundreds or thousands of rows — Seller Aim gives you a structured way to turn that raw data into a prioritized action list. Upload your price list directly into Seller Aim. The platform reads your UPC or EAN column and matches each row to an Amazon ASIN automatically. Products that cannot be matched are flagged for manual review. For every matched ASIN, Seller Aim calculates:- Net profit at the supplier’s listed price (FBA and FBM)
- ROI and margin based on current Amazon pricing
- FBA fees, referral fees, and storage cost estimates
- Current restriction status — restricted products are flagged immediately
- Minimum margin threshold (e.g., only show products above 20% ROI)
- Maximum seller count (e.g., exclude listings with more than 5 FBA sellers)
- Exclude all restricted products in one click
- Exclude any product with an active IP alert, hazmat, or meltable flag
Comparing Supplier Offers
As your wholesale operation grows, you will likely work with multiple distributors who carry overlapping catalogs. Seller Aim lets you compare supplier offers for the same ASIN side by side so you are always buying from the most profitable source. For each ASIN on your shortlist, you can log offers from different suppliers — including the supplier name, unit cost, minimum order quantity, and lead time. Seller Aim calculates profit independently for each offer so you can see at a glance:- Which supplier gives you the best margin on each ASIN
- Whether a lower unit cost from one supplier is offset by a higher minimum order quantity
- Which supplier relationships are driving the most overall ROI in your catalog
Building a Purchase Order
When your shortlist is finalized and supplier offers are confirmed, Seller Aim helps you assemble a structured purchase order. From your shortlisted products, select the ASINs you want to order and enter your quantities. Seller Aim calculates the full order summary:- Total cost of goods for the order
- Per-SKU ROI and margin at your entered COG
- Projected gross profit for the entire PO at current Amazon prices
- Weighted average ROI across all SKUs in the order
After the Order Ships
The work is not over once your purchase order is submitted. Use Seller Aim to stay on top of your inbound inventory and true landed cost. Calculate your true landed cost by factoring in all costs beyond the supplier invoice: inbound shipping, prep center fees (labeling, polybagging, bundling), and any import duties if applicable. Enter these per-unit costs against each ASIN in your order to get the real margin you will earn — not the margin you projected from the supplier’s price list alone. Sync with your FBA shipments to track what was received at Amazon’s fulfillment centers versus what you sent. Discrepancies between your shipped quantity and Amazon’s received count should be investigated promptly — the window for filing a missing-unit claim is limited.True landed cost almost always exceeds your initial COG estimate once prep fees and inbound freight are included. A product that looks like a 25% margin deal at the supplier’s price may drop to 18% after prep. Model both scenarios — supplier cost only, and full landed cost — before committing to an order.
