Your OA Workflow with Seller Aim
The browser extension transforms any retail website into a fully-powered sourcing station. Here is the end-to-end flow most OA sellers follow:1
Browse a retail website with the extension active
Open any supported retailer — Target, Walmart, Costco, B&H, and hundreds more. The Seller Aim browser extension runs quietly in the background and detects product pages automatically. No manual copy-pasting required.
2
Review profitability in the Side Panel
The moment a product page loads, the Seller Aim side panel slides in and shows you the current Amazon price, your estimated FBA and FBM profit, fees breakdown, and ROI — all calculated in real time against live Amazon data. There is no need to open a new tab or switch tools.
3
Check restriction status and flags
Right inside the same panel you will see whether you are approved to sell the product, plus any flags that could make it a liability: IP complaints, hazmat, meltable, or fragile designations. A single red flag is often enough to move on immediately.
4
Review Buy Box competition and price history
Scroll down in the panel to see the current Buy Box holders, the number of FBA competitors, and a Keepa-powered price and sales rank chart. Confirm the price you are seeing is stable — not a one-day anomaly.
5
Save notes, COG, and add to your sourcing list
If the numbers look good, log your cost of goods (COG) directly in the panel. The profit figures recalculate instantly. Add a note — anything from “check back in 30 days” to “order 20 units” — and save the product to your sourcing list with a single click.
6
Export your sourcing list to Google Sheets
When your session is done, export your saved products to Google Sheets for team review, further analysis, or archiving. The export includes all calculated profit data, flags, and your notes.
Using the Side Panel on Supplier Sites
The Seller Aim browser extension is not limited to Amazon — it is built to work on the sites where you actually do your sourcing. When you land on a retail product page, the extension attempts to match the item to an Amazon listing using the product’s UPC or EAN barcode, which is embedded in most retail pages. If a barcode match is found, the panel loads the correct Amazon ASIN automatically. If no barcode is present, you can trigger a title search directly from the panel to find the best matching Amazon listing manually. Once matched, the panel pulls live Amazon pricing and calculates your profit based on the retail page’s displayed price as your default cost of goods. You can override the COG at any time — useful when you have a coupon, cashback portal rebate, or negotiated discount that changes your true cost. The extension matches products using UPC and EAN codes when available. For products without barcodes (private label, bundles, or some specialty items) use the title search fallback in the panel to find the correct ASIN before trusting the profit numbers.
Amazon Search Page Quick View
You do not always need to open an individual listing to know whether a product is worth your time. When you run a search on Amazon with the Seller Aim extension active, deal-signal badges appear directly on each search result card — no clicking required. At a glance you can see:- Best Sellers Rank (BSR) — a fast indicator of how well the product sells in its category
- Restriction badge — a green checkmark or red lock tells you immediately whether you can sell it
- FBA fee estimate — so you know the rough cost structure before you invest time in a full analysis
- IP / hazmat flags — surface dangerous products before you dig any deeper
Avoiding Bad Deals
Fast sourcing is only valuable if you are sourcing the right products. Use these filters as your first line of defense before committing any time to deep analysis. Use flags as first-pass filters. If a product is flagged for IP complaints, hazmat, meltable status, or is in a restricted category, move on immediately. These flags show up in the side panel and in search results before you have invested significant time. Check price history before buying. A Keepa chart showing a price spike in the last 48 hours is a major red flag. Retailers regularly run short-term sales, and if Amazon’s price is temporarily elevated to match an anomaly, your deal disappears the moment the retailer’s sale ends. Look for a stable or gradually rising Amazon price trend. Understand Buy Box rotation. A listing with 15 FBA sellers offering the same price is heading toward a race to the bottom. Use the Buy Box analysis in the side panel to see how many sellers are competing and what the rotation looks like. Fewer FBA sellers and a stable price history are both positive signals. The profit calculator uses Amazon’s current price as the default sale price. If you expect the price to drop after you receive inventory (a common scenario in crowded listings), manually lower the sale price in the calculator to stress-test your margin before committing to a buy.
Building Your Sourcing List
Every product you save in Seller Aim lands in your shared sourcing workspace, giving you (and your team) a running list of leads to review.- Like or pass on products with a single click — liked products are added to your active sourcing list, passed products are archived so you do not see them again on the same site
- Add freeform notes to any saved product — record the retailer URL, a coupon code, a restock date, or anything else that will matter when you revisit
- Tag products with custom labels like
high-priority,seasonal, orwaiting-on-restockso you can filter your list by project or campaign - Set your COG per saved product so the profit figures are always based on your real cost, not the sticker price
