# Product Analysis: Research Any Amazon Product Instantly

> Use Seller Aim's product analysis tools to view BSR, Buy Box data, sales estimates, price history, and competitor offers on any Amazon listing.

Product analysis is the core feature of Seller Aim. Rather than switching between tabs and third-party tools, Seller Aim overlays critical product intelligence — sales rank, Buy Box data, pricing history, restriction status, and more — directly on Amazon product pages and supplier websites. Every metric you need to make a sourcing decision is surfaced right where you are, so you can research faster and buy smarter without ever leaving the listing.

## Product Page View

When you're browsing any Amazon product page with the Seller Aim browser extension active, a panel automatically loads alongside the listing with a full suite of data points. This gives you an instant snapshot of the product's commercial health.

**Data displayed on the product page:**

* **Best Sellers Rank (BSR)** — current rank and category, with historical trend
* **Price** — current Buy Box price, lowest new, lowest used
* **Buy Box %** — which sellers are winning the Buy Box and their share over time
* **Sales Rank** — rank history chart to identify trending or declining products
* **Rating Count** — total review count and star rating
* **Variation Type** — whether the product has size, color, or other variation children
* **Restriction Status** — whether you are eligible to sell this product on your account
* **IP Alerts** — intellectual property complaints logged against the ASIN
* **Flags** — hazmat, meltable, oversized, and other fulfillment flags

## Side Panel View

The Side Panel View extends Seller Aim's analysis beyond Amazon. When you're browsing a supplier or wholesale website, the Seller Aim side panel can pull up profitability data based on the product you're viewing — even when you're not on Amazon.

* **Match by ASIN or UPC** — the panel attempts to match the supplier's product to an Amazon listing automatically
* **Inline profitability** — once matched, profit, ROI, and margin are calculated using the supplier's listed price as your cost of goods
* **Useful for online arbitrage (OA)** — source from retail or wholesale sites like Walmart, Target, or distributor portals and immediately see whether the product is worth buying

<Note>
  For the best auto-match accuracy, make sure the supplier product page includes a UPC, EAN, or ASIN. You can also manually enter an ASIN in the panel search bar if auto-detection doesn't find a match.

## Lookup Links

Lookup Links allow Seller Aim to automatically pull a full data package for any product simply by following a specially constructed URL. This is useful for workflows where you need to programmatically retrieve product data without manually browsing to each listing.

**Data returned via Lookup Links:**

| Field        | Description                             |
| ------------ | --------------------------------------- |
| Title | Full Amazon product title |
| ASIN | Amazon Standard Identification Number |
| BSR | Current Best Sellers Rank and category |
| Price | Buy Box price and lowest offers |
| Category     | Root and sub-category                   |
| Restrictions | Eligibility status for your account |
| IP Alerts | Active intellectual property complaints |

Lookup Links are particularly powerful when used alongside spreadsheet-based sourcing workflows — paste a list of ASINs, generate lookup URLs, and batch-retrieve data across your entire sourcing pipeline.

<Tip>
  Combine Lookup Links with the Bulk Restrictions Checker to pre-qualify a supplier price list before placing any orders. See the [Restrictions Checker](/features/restrictions-checker) for details.
